Czars

I have asked (and been asked by) lots of people about the CZARS recently appointed (now and in the recent past) .. and no one could enlighten me with who they were.. Certainly the radio talking heads are speaking of some but we all need to know. And frankly, we SHOULD know.

So in frustration I had to go look for a complete list. Here is what I found and the source on which I located it below. My goal was to make the names available so you can do what you want with them. As I hear and learn of more, they will be posted.
Any comments made are those from the source and not "yours truly". Again, the goal was to find and provide a list..

Obama has moved swiftly to concentrate power in the White House, bypassing the review of our elected representatives in Congress in most of the posts listed above. Even though cabinet positions are part of the executive branch, the cabinet secretaries must be approved by Congress, they are funded by Congress, and they can be called before Congress to testify. Most of these czars, on the other hand, are appointed by Obama at his sole discretion, and are answerable only to him. If subpoenaed by Congress, they can claim executive privilege.
